BASIC CARE:

-Initial service set-up Visit: FREE!
Pre-trip information collection, farm visit while you're there.

Basic Care Rates:
-$20 each daily Basic Care visit (up to 1/2 hour each - $35/ full hour)
-Plus 50¢/per mile driven by your LHC associate between their base - and your site.
How far will we travel? As far as you want us too! We never charge for anything more than ACTUAL mileage.

*Basic Care can include:
Customized care done according to YOUR directions and needs!
-timely scheduled arrival of nearest available Lucky Horse Care Rep between 8am and 5pm.
Earlier or later scheduled arrival times, add $5.00 per hour. Thus a necessary guaranteed 6am arrival time will cost an additional $10 per day. Same, too for a 8pm. arrival, that would cost an additional $10 day as well. Less than having additional, separate kenneling fee for dogs, cats, etc.
-roughage feeding (hay, alfalfa that you provide)- or pasture check
-water check/fill
-supplement/grain feeding (you may provide in pre-measured zip-lock bags - otherwise leave EXACT and SPECIFIC directions with applicable measuring vessels)
-administering oral or topical medications
-general health assessment - including a once-over for knicks, scratches and any apparent lameness developments, with necessary lo-impact first aid (light wound washing with ointment application, etc)
-Treats (you provide) if approved by you.
-Petting and general admiration with a healthy dose of pleasant conversation
-restocking barn cat bowl(s) - w/food you provide
-Handwritten Log of notable activities kept as applicable
-Well behaved dogs included, too.

NOTE: The time it takes YOU to complete your daily chores may be typically less than us at least at first as we will be new to the animals and the premises - although we have been known break home records for routine tasks!

Emergency Assistance
-If an emergency does arise, we stay on site until things are safe/normal or one of your personal emergency designees arrives to release us.

Larger Jobs:
-$25/hour (minimum 3 consecutive for this rate)
-Full day rate: $20/hour (minimum 6 hours/day)
Hire us for a full day while you're away to clean your barn, stalls, tack, feed dishes, etc - we'll get loads done AND feed all for a day rate. You can mix a day like this right in with several other days of just 1/2 hour Basic Care stops! Imagine, you come home to a happy herd AND a cleaner barn!
